How to cook: Chicken Parmigiana

Sink your teeth into this moist chicken breast fillet coated with crunchy bread crumbs, fried into perfection, made savory with marinara sauce and gooey parmesan and mozzarella cheese toppings.

Procedure: Flatten chicken fillet using a kitchen mallet or slice thinly, then pat dry. Season with salt and pepper. Dredge in flour, dip in scrambled egg, then coat with panko/ Japanese breadcumbs, seasoned with herbs. Fry until golden brown. Spoon marinara sauce or spaghetti sauce on top of chicken fillet. Add shredded parmesan and mozzarella cheese on top then broil in oven until cheese has melted. Enjoy! đź’•

How to make: Burrito Sauce- 2 ways

TOMATO-BASED SAUCE:

1. In a pan, melt butter and saute onion.

2. Blend in flour. 

3. Gradually add water or broth, stirring to keep smooth.

4. Add tomato sauce, garlic powder, salt and hot sauce.

5. Simmer for 5 mins. or until thick. 

CREAMY SAUCE: 

1. In a bowl, combine sour cream or yogurt and grated fresh garlic, about 2-3 cloves. 

2. Add juice of 1/2 lemon or lime + chopped cilantro.

3. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
