How to make: Sushi Rolls

You’ll need the following:

Sushi mat, steamed Japanese rice, Nori (roasted seaweed) wrapper, Kani (Crab sticks), ripe mangoes, cucumber, kikoman sauce for dip and wasabi.


Here’s how:

Spread a layer of rice over nori.


Arrange strips of mangoes, kani and cucumber on top of rice.


You may add Japanese mayonnaise to this layer for added flavor and to glue the fillings together. Use a catsup dispenser to make a strip.

Start folding the sushi mat away from you so it forms a roll. Be careful not to squash the roll as you go along, but make sure that it’s firm.

Use a very sharp knife to slice your roll.
